Terms of Use

CitedSite is a service operated by [Your Legal Entity], registered in [Country / State]. References to "we", "us" and "CitedSite" mean that entity.

You must be at least 16 to use CitedSite. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@citedsite.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

CitedSite helps make your site discoverable so search engines and AI tools can find and quote it. We don't guarantee any particular search ranking, indexing speed, or AI citation outcome — those are decided by third parties outside our control.

You agree not to use CitedSite to:

• Submit URLs you don't own or aren't authorized to submit.
• Submit illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Attempt to manipulate search results in violation of search-engine guidelines.
• Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or resell it without our written permission.
• Interfere with or stress-test our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and report serious abuse to the relevant authorities.

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• You can cancel any time from your billing portal — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers, where applicable).
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; the new price takes effect at your next renewal.
• Taxes (VAT, sales tax) are added at checkout where applicable.

The Free URL Submitter and other free tools are provided as-is, with no SLA, and may be rate-limited or changed at any time.

You keep ownership of everything you submit (URLs, sitemaps, site content). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process that content for the limited purpose of operating the service.

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for business customers, our Data Processing Addendum.

The service depends on third parties (Lovable Cloud, Stripe, search engines, AI providers). We're not responsible for their uptime, changes, or decisions about your content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

You'll defend and indemnify us from claims arising out of your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these terms or if we must do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (billing, IP, disclaimers, liability) survive.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction], unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
